Creating additional folders:

A folder is used for storing e-mails.  For example, your Inbox stores new and undeleted e-mail while your Outbox stores e-mail waiting to be sent.  You can create new folders to hold specific types of e-mail.  You can even enable Entourage to automatically filter and place those emails in the folders you create when the e-mail arrives.  For information on filtering, click the 'Message filters' link above.

To create a new folder, click the Mailbox menu and select New from the list, as shown below.

 

The following screen appears:

Name  =  give the folder a name.  If you'd like, you can make it a subfolder of another folder.

Click OK.

 

The new folder has now been added to the Mailbox menu.

You can enable Eudora to automatically filter and place those emails in the folders you create when the e-mail arrives.  For information on filtering, click here.

You can access a complete Mailbox window by clicking Window, then Mailboxes, as shown below.

The following MailBoxes window appears.
