  Creating mailboxes (folders) in Eudora 5:

A mailbox is like a folder.  creating mailboxes helps you to organize your e-mail.  Certain types of e-mail messages can be placed in the mailboxes you create.  Mailboxes work well with filters.

To create a mailbox in Eudora, follow these simple steps:

On the Toolbar, click Tools and select Mailboxes from the drop-down menu.

 

The Mailboxes window opens.

Right-click the Eudora folder and select New from the menu as shown below:

 

The New Mailbox window appears.

Name the new mailbox  =  give the new mailbox a name.  In this example, I name the mailbox 'Family'.

Click OK when finished.

 

The new mailbox now appears in the list of mailboxes.
