  Deleting e-mail account passwords locally:

When you change your e-mail password with your ISP, you also need to change it within Thunderbird.  If you've saved your password, Thunderbird can be a bit cranky on giving it up.  You'll need to delete the saved password first.  To passwords, do the following:

On the Toolbar, click Tools and select Options from the menu.

The Options window appears.

In the left-hand column, highlight Advanced.

To the right, click Saved Passwords to expand its menu.
Click the View Saved Passwords button.

The Password Manager window appears.

Delete any passwords you don't want saved anymore by clicking the Remove button or delete them all by clicking the Remove All button.
Click the Close button.

We return to the Options window.

Click the OK button to close the window.
