Remember: This is a last resort AFTER resetting the Preferences, described here.

Insert the MacOS CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive.

 

Click the Continue button.

 

Click the Select button.

 

Click the Add/Remove button.

 

Check the box next to Mac OS 8.5.

Select Customized installation in the list.

 

Select Networking & Connectivity in the list.

 

Click the OK button (Only Mac OS 8.5 should be checked).

Click the Start button.
