  Configuring and Connecting:

Cyberduck is a simple FTP client made for Macintosh OS X.  To connect to an FTP site or your personal space on our server, you'll need to configure Cyberduck correctly.  To configure Cyberduck, launch it and do the following:

In the top, left-hand corner of the screen, click the New Connection button.

A small window drops down from the top of the screen.

In the first drop-down menu, select FTP (File Transfer).

Server  =  enter the address of the ftp server.  If you're connecting to your personal space on the server, enter the address.  It follows this format:  users.ispname.com.
Port  =  enter the default port of 21.

Path =  leave this field blank.

Username  =  enter your dial-up username (include the domain tail @ispname.com (or .net)).
Password  =  enter your dial-up password.

Important:  passwords are case-sensitive.  Ensure that your Caps Lock key is DISabled.

Cyberduck is now configured properly.

Click the Connect button to begin the session.

Create additional folders:

If you need to create more folders on your site, do the following:

On the Toolbar, click File and select New Folder from the drop-down menu.

A small, new window appears.

Enter the name for the new folder  =  give the new folder a distinctive name.

Click the Create button to save the changes and to close the window.

The new folder now appears on the server.

Transferring files:

To transfer files, simply drag and drop them from any folder (your Desktop, for example) on you computer to the Cyberduck's window and vice versa.

Bookmarking a site:

Cyberduck remembers the sites you use.  This way you can easily connect to any site you frequent.  Simply click on the drop-down menu and select the desired site from the list.

You can also click the Bookmark button   to the left of the menu and create a bookmark for the particular site in the window that opens.

To create a bookmark for the site, click the Add button to bookmark the site.

Disconnecting:

To disconnect from the FTP server or your personal space, do the following:

On the Toolbar, click Cyberduck and select Quit Cyberduck from the drop-down menu.
