PC requirements:  Pentium 200MHz with 64MB of RAM and at least 5 MB of hard-disk space.

 

Repairing or Uninstalling BrowseBlast:

If BrowseBlast is experiencing problems, you may need to perform a "Repair" or completely uninstall and then reinstall the software.

Important:  There are two common reasons why BrowseBlast may not function properly:

Client for Microsoft Networks must be installed for BrowseBlast to function properly.

BrowseBlast appears to interfere with XP ZoneAlarm, but this hasn't been confirmed.

Repairing BrowseBlast:

Repairing BrowseBlast reinstalls any changed files or registry keys from your BrowseBlast CD.

You repair BrowseBlast in the same place you would uninstall it.

Uninstalling BrowseBlast:

BrowseBlast is very simple to uninstall.  Unlike other programs, all of BrowseBlast's components are removed when you uninstall it.

To repair or uninstall BrowseBlast, follow these steps:

Click Start and select Control Panel from the pop-up menu.

 

Once in the Control Panel double-click Add or Remove Programs.

 

Find BrowseBlast in the list of installed programs and highlight it.

A Change/Remove button appears to the side.  Click it.

 

If BrowseBlast hasn't been disabled, the following window will appear.

To disable BrowseBlast and continue uninstalling, click OK.

 

Uninstall all of BrowseBlast's components.

Repair the installation of BrowseBlast's components.

Select Automatic.  Click Next.

 

Select Repair and click Next.

 

Click Finish to uninstall BrowseBlast.

Click Finish to complete the repair.
