  Enabling/Disabling Norton AntiSpam:

Norton's AntiSpam blocks spam messages from your Inbox and it's very good at it.  If you're having trouble downloading messages, it may be due to Norton's AntiSpam.  It may be diverting the messages, good or bad, to another folder or deleting them.  You can disable AntiSpam for troubleshooting purposes.  If you start getting messages after disabling AntiSpam, it is probably a setting you'll need to adjust within AntiSpam's options.  You should re-enable it after.

In the System Tray, right click the Norton Internet Security icon and select Open Norton Internet Security.

Norton Internet Security appears.

On the Toolbar, click Options and select Norton AntiSpam from the menu.

AntiSpam:

In the left-hand column, highlight General.
Uncheck the option Turn on Norton AntiSpam.

Click the OK button.

Now try to download your messages from the server, but verify there are messages to download.  If they start rolling in, it may be a setting within Norton AntiSpam.
