  Chatting with buddies in JabberWanna:

To chat with a friend, double click on the friend's name.

 

A chat window will appear.

Note the two windows, one large and one small.

In the lower (smaller) window, enter the message you'd like to send and then click the Enter key.

 

Your message will appear in the upper (larger) window.

Any message your friend sends will also appear in the upper window.
