  Various options for myJabber:

myJabber has many options, several of which we will mention here.

To access the options, do the following:

On the Toolbar, click myJabber, select Tools and then Options from the menus.

 

The Options window appears.

On the left is a column of categories.  For each category selected, a variety of options pertaining to the selected category appears on the right.

In the left column, highlight Server.

Your profile information is stored here.  You can modify it or change it completely.

 

In the left column, highlight History / Auto Away.

If you step away from your keyboard, when enabled, myJabber will let your buddies know automatically that you're not there.

 

In the left column, highlight Program Options.

You can configure myJabber to startup automatically when you start your computer and various other options.

 

In the left column, highlight Favorite Conference Rooms.

If you come across any conference rooms that you like, you can add them here.  You can also modify or delete them.

 

In the left column, highlight Sounds.

myJabber can play sounds when buddies come online, leave a chat room, send you a message, etc.

You can enable/disable and stipulate the sounds used here.

 

In the left column, highlight Blocking.

In chat rooms, many people can become annoying and even offensive.  You can block them from sending you any messages.  Just enter the IDs in the lower field and click the Add button.
