  Various options for Rival 3:

There are various options in Rival 3 of which you may want to be aware.  We'll discuss a few of them here.  To access these options, do the following:

In the bottom, left-hand corner of the window, click the Options icon as shown below.

 

The Options window opens.

Select the General tab.

Incoming Message Notification  =  when enabled, Rival 3 will notify you of incoming messages.

Check for updates on login  =  from time to time, Rival will have updates to download.  These updates fix certain bugs and enhance the functionality of the program.

 

Select the Audio tab.

If you check Enable Sounds, Rival will alert you when a contact comes online, when a new chat starts, etc.
