SpeedStream 4100 — DSL Modem for Microsoft Windows

  Restoring the SpeedStream 4100 to Factory Default Settings:

To configure the SpeedStream 4100 for PowerDSL, do the following:

After connecting the SpeedStream to your computer, open your Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.).
Address  =  Enter the following address:  192.168.0.1.
Click the Enter key.

 

The SpeedStream user interface appears.

Click the Advanced button to expand the menu.
Click the Reset Modem button.

Reset Modem:

Important:  Resetting the modem will erase all configuration settings and return the modem back to the factory settings.

Do you want to proceed?  If you're sure you want to reset the modem, click the Yes button.

 

The modem restarts.

Important:  Do NOT turn off the modem or disconnect any cables or power cords until the modem power light has been steady green for at least 15 seconds.

Continue waiting until the next screen appears.

 

After the modem reboots, reconfigure the modem to connect to the Internet.
