  Westell 6100 — DSL Router for Microsoft Windows

  Configure a PPPoA Connection:

To configure the Westell 6100 for PowerDSL, do the following:

After connecting the Westell to your computer, open your Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.).
Address  =  Enter the following address:  192.168.1.1.

The Westell User Interface appears.

Click the profile editor button.

 

The Getting Started screen appears.

Click the next button to continue.

 

User Name:

Connection Name  =  Enter a name for the connection.  It can be the name of your ISP.
Account ID  =  Enter the username provided by your ISP.  It follows this format:  ####username@powerdsl.com where #### is your ISP's 4-digit code.
Account Password  =  Enter the password provided by your ISP.

Click the next button to continue.

 

VPI / VCI:

VPI (0-255)  =  Enter 0.
VCI (1-65535)  =  Enter 35.

Click the next button to continue.

 

PROTOCOL:

Protocol:  Select PPPoA from the menu.

Click the next button to continue.

 

That's it.  The configuration is complete.

Click the done button.

 

The following prompt appears:

Click the OK button to allow the new configuration to take affect.

 

The modem resets...

 

You're now configured.

You're ready to surf the Internet at PowerDSL speeds.
