  Creating an account with the Wizard:

To create a new FTP account for your personal Web space using the connection wizard, do the following:

On the Toolbar, click Edit and select Site Profiles from the menu.

 

The FTP Site Profile Editor appears.

In the bottom, left-hand corner, click the Wizard button.

 

The FTP Site Profile Wizard launches.

Site Profile Name  =  Give the account a name.

Click the Next button.

 

FTP Site  =  Enter the address of your personal Web space.  It follows this format:  users.ispname.com.

Click the Next button.

 

Do not check Anonymous Login.

Click the Next button.

 

User ID  =  Enter your username for your dial-up connection (including the domain tail).
Password  =  Enter the password to your dial-up account.

Click the Next button.

 

Local Folder  =  If you wish, enter or browse to the folder on your computer in which you'd like to store your files locally.  Otherwise, click the Next button to use the default folder.

Click the Next button.

 

That's it.  You're done.

If you'd like to edit the site, you've just created, select Edit this FTP Site Profile.

Click the Finish button.

 

If you selected the option Edit this FTP Site Profile in the previous screen, the following window opens.  Your new site is highlighted and the various settings appear to the right.  The settings you see here should work for your personal Web space without any problems.

Click the Close button.
