Introduction to Profiles:

Setting up additional profiles is much more complicated in Agent than many other e-mail clients.  If you like Agent, it's worth it.  Since the creation of profiles is a bit lengthy, we divided the following tutorial into two parts:

1.  Creating a folder to hold the new users settings and e-mail, and
2.  Configuring the new user account to point to the folder.

Creating additional profiles in Agent (Part 1):

To set up a folder to hold the soon-to-be-created profile, follow these steps:

Click Start and select My Documents from the menu.

Note:  In Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000, My Computer is located on the desktop.  Double click to open it.

Note:  You don't have to place your folder where we do.  Create your folder where it suits you best.

The My Documents folder opens.

On the Toolbar, click File and select New -> Folder from the menus.

Give the folder a unique name.

Now go to the Agent installation directory on your hard drive (normally C:\Program Files\Agent).

Open the Data folder and do the following:

Right click on AGENT.INI and select Copy from the menu.

Go back to the folder you created earlier.

Right click inside the folder and select Paste from the menu.

The AGENT.INI file now appears in the folder.

Close the folder.
