  Creating additional mailboxes (folders):

A mailbox is like a folder.  creating mailboxes helps you to organize your e-mail.  Certain types of e-mail messages can be placed in the mailboxes you create.  Mailboxes work well with filters.

To create a mailbox in Eudora, follow these simple steps:

If the Mailboxes pane is not already open, you can click its tab or on the Toolbar, click Tools and select Mailboxes from the menu.

Then right-click the Eudora folder and select New from the menu as shown below.

The New Mailbox window appears.

Name the new mailbox  =  give the new mailbox a name.  In this example, I name the mailbox 'Family'.

Click OK when finished.

The new mailbox now appears in the list of mailboxes.

You can create filters that will place certain e-mails in your mailboxes automatically.  To view a tutorial on filters, click here.
