BrowseBlast can also block pop-up windows if you like.  Pop-ups are those annoying extra (often smaller) windows that appear when you enter many web sites.  If this feature is not functioning correctly, some websites with login pop-ups may not work properly.

To access the Pop-Up Blocker settings follow these steps.

Find the BrowseBlast icon in the bottom, right-hand corner of your desktop.

Click on the icon and select Pop-Up Blocker from the menu, as pictured below.

The Pop-Up Blocker settings appear:

Note the three tabs:  Options | White List | Logging |

Options Tab:

The default settings are shown below.

Checking Enable PopUp Blocker and Block floating Flash-Ads will block most pop-up ads on the web.

White List tab:

Some web sites may not function properly if pop-ups are not allowed.

For example, some web pages have login windows that may be blocked by BrowseBlast's Pop-Up Blocker.

If you are having difficulty accessing a web site that normally requires you to log in, you may need to add the site to the White List.

This is easy to do from the next tab:  Logging.

Logging tab:

The Logging tab lists all of the web sites you have visited which have had pop-ups blocked by BrowseBlast.

To allow pop-ups from a site that has been blocked, right-click on the site and click Add to Whitelist.
