  Adding a contact/buddy in PSI:

Adding a a buddy to your contact list is very simple.  Do the following:

Towards the bottom, left corner, click the PSI symbol button and select Add a contact from the menu.

 

The Add User window appears.

Jabber ID  =  enter the IM address of your to-be buddy.
Nickname  =  if he/she has a nickname, enter it.
Group  =  Select a group.

Select Request authorization.

Click the Add button.

 

When your buddy accepts your subscription request, he'll appear in your list of Friends with a gold star.
